Mona Lee Skaggs, 47, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at her home. She was born November 24, 1973, in Henderson, Kentucky, to the late Larry Blankenship and Mona Sue Madden (Poole).
Mona loved to do arts and crafts with flowers. She enjoyed listening to music, especially songs by Johnny Cash, and cooking, which she always cooked enough for a large crowd.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Shannon Grahm.
Mona is survived by her son, Blake Skaggs; significant other, Glen Shepherd; brother, Dale Fritts (fiancée, Rená Stone); sister, Tammy Balmear; half-brother, David Skinner; and many nieces, nephew, and cousins.
Memorial Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 30, 2021, at Alexander North Chapel. Friends may visit Friday from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, KY.
