Llewellyn Myrick McDow, 91, of Lakeway, Texas, passed away on October 29, 2019 in Lakeway, Texas. She was born on the Myrick ranch southwest of Falfurrias to Nona R. Hill and R.A. Myrick on August 4, 1928. She attended Falfurrias High School and graduated from the Brackenridge School of Nursing, University of Texas. She was a Registered Nurse with the Texas Department of Health in Brooks County. She was a life-long resident of Falfurrias.
She is preceded in death by Nona R. Hill, mother, R. A. Myrick, father, and R. A. Myrick, II, brother.
She is survived by her children, Harry N. McDow, II (Lynda H. McDow), Stuart L. McDow (Susan K. Maclay), and David A. McDow (Lisa D. McDow). She will also be remembered by her sister, Nona Forbes; three granddaughters, Mary Ellen Mayberry (Corey Mayberry), Kaitlyn B. McDow, Sarah I. McDow, and her two great-granddaughters, Frankie L. Mayberry and Roxie L. Mayberry.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, November 2, at Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with Lon Scott of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Falfurrias Burial Park.
