Samuels, Mary R., 80, of Sarasota, Florida passed away December 14, 2022. Reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband Paul, daughter, Mary Piergies and son, William Comeau. Loving mother of Rose Bouyet, Alice Comeau, Margaret Baily and Stacy Herles (Ted). Cherished grandmother of Bryan, Anthony and Kayla Bouyet, Allen, Ashly and Nicholas Baily, Johnny Herles, Abbie West and McKenzie Rossi, Jacob and Wiliam Burkett, Joey Piergies and Tara Baker-Piergies. Adored great-grandmother of Taylor Bouyet, Ava West, Braydon West and Harper Mariano, Decklyn, Dravin and Danika Burkett, Joey Piergies and Bryce Baker-Piergies. Treasured sister of William Griffith and Ann Fransisco. Longtime dear friend of Charby. Devoted Dog Mom and best friend of Carla. Mary was always a constant support system for not only her family, but anyone in need. She was strong willed but funny, outgoing and vibrant. Mary's favorite days would be spent sun bathing by the pool, playing the slots at the casino or dining at her favorite seafood restaurant but Mary was always happiest surrounded by her family. She loved elephants, roses, gardenias, the color red and anything with a sparkle. In her free time Mary liked to crochet, do puzzles and play games. The family will receive visitors Monday, December 19th, 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 315 Conklin Street, Farmingdale. Funeral Service Tuesday, December 20th, 10 am at the funeral home. Interment following at Long Island National Cemetery.
