Edmond was born on December 29, 1920 in Bergland, Ontario to Per and Margaret Fredrickson. He lived on the family farm as a young boy and his parents retired he took over their dairy business. After selling the farm he worked in Montreal for CN Rail as a brake man. He returned to the Rainy River District working with his uncles in the bush logging and then later at Caland Ore. He enjoyed bowling, dancing, hunting and fishing. He looked forward to his Fall hunting trips with his nephews every year.
He leaves behind his daughter Sharon and her family; sister Millie Beyak as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Edmond was predeceased by his parents; wife Mary and siblings Esther, Emma, Edla, Gunner, Evelyn, Ruth, George, Earl and Violet.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 1 p.m. at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Atikokan, Ontario.
