Carolyn LaDeen Martin

Carolyn LaDeen Martin passed away July 3, 2018 after a long illness. She was born January 11, 1936 to the late Ernest and Gladys (Graham) Taylor. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Roger Taylor. Carolyn was a member of First Baptist Church in Lavaca, and she worked at St. Edwards School of Nursing for many years.

She is survived by her husband, Ted; her son, Scott and his wife Mary of Prairie Grove; and her grandchildren, whom she dearly loved, William, Caleb, Marie and Sarah.

A memorial service will be 2:00pm Friday, July 6, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Lavaca. Burial will take place at an earlier time at Lavaca City Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Martin, Benny Teague, Buford Martin, Dewayne Glidwell and Arnold Sexton.
