Herman M. Neihouse

Herman M. Neihouse, 85 passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016. He was born April 5, 1931 in Fort Smith, to Herman A. and Agatha (Newman) Neihouse. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church. He was a 1949 graduate of Subiaco Academy. He was a retired United States Air Force Veteran of 24 years having served with the Strategic Air Command.

Rosary will be said Monday, January 2, 2017 at 6:00 PM at Fentress Mortuary Chapel with a visitation to follow. The funeral mass will be held Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 10:30 AM at St. Boniface Catholic Church with interment and full military honors to follow at the Fort Smith National Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lois, one son Brian Neihouse, and one daughter Tina Schlaefli (Paul), both of Fort Smith, two grandchildren, Nicole Schlaefli Maxey (Truman) of Tulsa, OK, and Erica Schlaefli of Fort Smith, two sisters; Catherine McVay of Eldorado, AR, and Leona Little of Russellville, AR and numerous nieces and nephews.
