Dolores Gayle Studler, 91, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away peacefully at Grey Stone Health and Rehab on Thursday, April 22, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of Darcie and Esther Gerardot. Dolores was a graduate of North Side High School. She worked for Roots Camp N Ski for 22 years, from which she retired. A lover of the outdoors, she enjoyed swimming, water skiing, and jet skiing at Tri Lakes. Dolores also enjoyed socializing, playing cards, and having drinks and dinner with “The Club”, a group of ladies from her high school years. She will be remembered as a kind, fun-loving woman who adored her family and loved to talk. Surviving are her children, Mark (Joey) Studler and Leslie (Rick) Vorndran; three grandchildren, Ashley Byal, Madison Vorndran, and Matt (Taryn) Vorndran; four great-grandchildren; niece, Cynthia (David) McCulloch; and nephew, Jerry (Judy) Gerardot. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don Studler; and brother, Ralph Gerardot. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 11118 Kings Crossing, Fort Wayne, IN 46845. Inurnment will be at Lindenwood Cemetery.
