Don Bonnet was born on September 11, 1929 in Fresno, California to Thomas and Ruth Bonnet. He worked with his father at San Joaquin Valley Battery and Electric, eventually buying it from his father. Don sold the business in 1992.
He is a United States Navy veteran. He was a member at Peace Lutheran Church of Fresno. His passions were flying, photography, football, auto racing, Mopar Association, and being a member at Fort Washington Country Club. Don passed away on October 27, 2018. Don is survived by his wife Leslie Bonnet of 57 years.
Visitation will be held at Palm La Paz Funeral Home on Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at Fresno Memorial Gardens on Monday, November 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.
After graveside services, a Celebration of Life reception will be held at San Joaquin Gardens, 5555 N. Fresno St, Fresno, CA, on Monday, November 5, 2018, from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m.
