Sakaye Ichimoto was born in Fresno, California on May 5, 1923 and passed away at her daughter Ava Kerr's home in Reno Nevada on Saturday December 22, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George; and sister Aiko Hatayama.

Sakaye is survived by her daughter, Ava Kerr and her husband George; son Leonard Ichimoto and his wife, Lynette; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and sister, Midori Wedemeyer

A memorial service for Sakaye will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Lisle Funeral Home, 1605 L Street, Fresno, California at 11:00 am
