Lucille A. Lambert

Lucille Andrews Lambert was born on April 5, 1918 and died on March 8, 2014. She was born at home in Limestone County, Alabama and spent most of her adult life in Birmingham, Alabama where she was a long-time member of Huffman Baptist Church. Lucy is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Edwin Earnest Lambert; parents, Earl Hicks Andrews and Maude Mitchell Andrews; brother, Earl Hicks Andrews, Jr.; sister, Christine Tarrant and grandson Eli Coe Lambert. She is survived by her children, Irene (Wallace) Henley of Houston, Texas, Edwinna (Benny) Feltman of Birmingham, Alabama and Edwin E. (Susanne) Lambert, Jr. of Springville, Alabama. Lucy is also survived by grandchildren, Edwin E. (Tracy) Lambert, III, Margie Lambert (Will) Voltz, Amy Carroll Feltman, Andrew Harvey (Elizabeth) Feltman, Mary Lauri Henley and Travis Wallace Henley. Her great grandchildren are Mariel Grace Rushing, Laura Jayne Rushing, Lucy D. Rushing, Julia Alexandria Henley, Joshua Travis Henley, Ciera Nicole Henley, Grace Ann Lambert, Caroline Rose Lambert, Susanne Francis Voltz, and Riley Johnson Voltz. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Fairhaven Fountains of Love. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 11 AM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, Trussville, AL.
