

Robinson, Violet June "Vickie" age 79 of Georgetown, Texas was called home to the waiting arms of her heavenly father on March 20th, 2015. Vickie was born in Crestline, Kansas on January 8th, 1936. She was the fourth child of six, born to James Pierce and Lilly Mae McNeely. She was her father's little movie star. Vickie lived all of her youth and attended school in Pittsburg, Kansas until falling in love with her husband, James Earl Robinson, in 1952. After her marriage to James, life took Vickie to many different homes in Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas through her husband's employment with the railroad. She moved to her final home in Georgetown in 1985. Five children were born along the way. James Steven, Vivian Lynne, Valerie Ann, Vickie Renee, and Robert Brian. The five children led to nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Family was of utmost importance in her life. Vickie was full of life to everyone who met her and she loved interacting with people. She was very proud of her work as a real estate agent in Oklahoma and also her work with the Democratic National Committee where she organized and administered voting booth and polling locations in Georgetown. Vickie was predeceased by her three brothers Loren Henry, Alva Elmer, and Jimmy Dale McNeely. She is survived by her husband, children, grand-children, and her two sisters Ida Moore, and Darlene "Doll" Pyle. She will be greatly missed by all. The wake will be held from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM on March 24th at Gabriel's Funeral Chapel at 393 IH 35 Frontage Rd. in Georgetown. The funeral will be held the following day at 2:00 PM.
