James (Jim) J. VanRyckeghem

James (Jim), 85, of Kansas City, MO passed peacefully, joining his wife and daughter on Thursday March 7, 2019. Jim was born on March 2, 1934 in KC, MO to Henry and Bertha VanRyckeghem.

Jim was a proud father and grandfather who enjoyed the outdoors and time with his family. He worked for 50 years as a Meat Cutter (Meat Processing Engineer) as he loved to call it. Jim was a big fan of Jeopardy and The Price Is Right.

Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen (Sue); his daughter, Deborah; his parents; and little brother, Maurice.

Survivors include his 2 daughters, Delores (John) Pounds and Nancy Hawn; 3 brothers, Joe, Bob (Rita), and Ron VanRyckeghem; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
