Mrs. Annie Ruth Jones

Annie Ruth worked as a supervisor at Sea World. In her spare time she enjoyed eating seafood, listening to blues music, and relaxing with Emma and Janice.

She is preceded in death by her daughter Willene Worthen Jones; parents, Lilton and Arrie Bell Hixson; sister, Martha “Mott” Green; brothers, Seab Hixson, Willie “Doll” Hixson, Milton “Pie” Hixson , and Jerry Hixson, and brothers-in-law, Donnie Jones and Neal Jones.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, David Lee Jones (Orlando, Florida); daughters, Elizabeth Fudge (Columbus, Georgia), Angel Lee Jones and her husband Leroy (Orlando, Florida), and Davyonne Jones (Orlando, Florida); brother, Jasper Hixson (Ohio); sisters, Lula Mae Jones (Orlando, Florida) and Betty Stanley and her husband, Kenneth (Georgia); 11 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

She is also survived by her in-laws, Walter and Donna Jones (Orlando, Florida); her sisters-in-law, Cora Williams (Sam) and Emma Jones (Orlando, Florida) ; her best friend, Janice Sessler (Orlando, Florida), and her loving neighbors, Minnie and Mr. C. Joiner, Mr. Underwood and Mr. Daryl Williams and their families.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Woodlawn Funeral Home in Gotha, Florida. A visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Saturday, July 13, 2019.

A service of home going will be held at 3 pm on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Woodlawn Funeral Home with Rev. Roosevelt Williams officiating the service. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
