Thomas Rutherford

June 12th 1990 – October 6th 2013

Tommy, loving Son, Grandson, Brother, Uncle, Cousin and Friend went home to the Lord WAY too soon. His belief in God, infectious smile, helping spirit and loving way guided his short life.

Tommy was a Knight of Columbus, member of the Catholic Church, FOCUS member, Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity brother, NRA member and a Boy Scout.

He graduated from Grandview High School, attended Longview Community College and attended Northwest Missouri State University.

Tommy was an avid Chiefs, Royals, NASCAR and Formula 1 fan, loved cars, airplanes and enjoyed sport shooting. He was a PC guru and often helped others with their problems.

Tommy is survived by his father Clifford I. Rutherford, step mother Bonita A Rutherford, sisters Denise McGraw, Michelle Williams and his Brother Clifford I. Rutherford II. Thomas had numerous cousins nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his natural mother Ellen Elizabeth Rutherford in 1992.

In place of flowers the family requests donations to Midwest Transplant Network.

Visitation will be 6-8 pm Thursday, Oct. 10 and the funeral service at 11:00 am Friday, Oct. 11 at McGilley and George Funeral Home 12913 Grandview Rd Grandview, MO. Burial in Longview cemetery. Thomas we love you and miss you so much! Condolences may be left at www.mcgilleygeorgegrandview.com
