Jerry Lee Barton

Jerry Lee Barton, age 55 of Byron Center passed away Tuesday November 8, 2011 in the arms of his loving wife Denise and surrounded by his children Sean, Lisa and Jerin. He was preceded in death by his father Lloyd Barton, mother-in-law Agnes Jacobs and father-in-law John Jacobs.

He is survived by his loving wife Denise; children Sean, Lisa and Jerin (Sherri); seven grandchildren; mother Dora Ann Barton; brothers Gary (Anne), Dewayne (Lola), Scott (Marilyn) and Shawn. Jerry was a great, wonderful husband and father. He was a devoted Manager at Praxis Packaging where he treated everyone with respect and compassion. Jerry was well liked and loved by so many. He liked gardening, fishing, horseback riding and grilling. Jerry cherished and adored his wife of 29 years. Words cannot express how much he will be missed.

In honor of Jerry, contributions may be made to Lemon Holton Cancer Center or to his family horse farm. Visitation with the family will be held from 2 - 4pm and 6 - 8pm, Saturday November 12th at Cook Funeral Home, 2067 84th Street SW, Byron Center.
