Judith Ann Koning, age 80, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 15, 2020. Judy was preceded in death by her parents John and Ruth Norder. She will be fondly remembered by her husband of 59 years, Theodore; children Sue (David) Niewenhuis, Scott (Jackie) Koning, and Steven Koning; seven granddaughters; eight foster children; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Judy graduated from Wyoming Park High School. She loved camping, gardening, traveling, baking, knitting and spending time with her family. She and Ted volunteered at Hephzibah Children’s Home, International Aid, Christian Reformed Disaster Relief, Love Incorporated, and hosted for Michigan State Campgrounds.
A private Celebration of Judy’s Life will take place in the near future, with time and date to be determined. In honor of Judy and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to World Renew.
