Eladio moved to Greeley in 1987 to be near his family and friends. He worked for JBS and was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Eladio had a heart of gold, he was very caring and loved his children. He was a joker and storyteller. He loved watching the Colorado Rockies.
Eladio is survived by his siblings, Cruz (Socorro) Piñon; Hector Piñon, Rafael Piñon and Oscar (Gloria) Piñon; nieces and nephews, Laura Piñon, Jesus Piñon, Jose Piñon, Alejandro Piñon, Abel Piñon, Oscar Piñon, Cesar Piñon and Edith Salgado; grandchildren, Jayline Garcia Piñon, Fernando Garcia Piñon, Camila Bocanegra Piñon and Abriel Piñon Hernandez; brother-in-law, Socorro Antonio Varela and sister-in-law, Gloria Rodrigues.
Visitation will be from 1:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 17, 2018 with Recitation of the Rosary at 6:30 p.m. both at Stoddard Funeral Home, 3205 West 28th Street, Greeley.
