Michael Francis “Mike” Bergen, Jr., of Simpsonville, passed suddenly March 20, 2016 in his 43rd year. He was born in Edison, New Jersey to Colleen Meixner Bergen and the late Michael Francis Bergen, Sr. Mike was employed with Progressive Packaging, and was a member of Word of Life Church of God. Surviving, in addition to his mother, Colleen, are children Charlie, Kateri Bergen, and Abbi Bergen; wife, Sarah Hutchings Bergen; and niece, Ashlyn Bergen. He was preceded by a brother, Charles Bergen and his Father, Michael. Memorial service 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Word of Life Church of God.
