Born in 1932 at Roslin, NS, to the late Ira and Ruth Black.
His passion was his work, keeping the road building equipment going for Nova Construction.
Dad, in his spare time; loved his piece of beach at Tracadie, boating and hosting big family reunions with fireworks for all the nieces, nephews and neighbours on the July 1, Canada Day weekend. He would also drive around the countryside, checking the progress of any road construction in the area and commenting frequently how things have slowed down over the years. Road trips in his RV with family and Tim Horton’s runs were also on the top of the list. He will always be remembered for his sense of humour and wit, often saying “No fools, no fun”.
Malcolm is survived by daughter, Kathy (Ben); son, Glenn (Sharon); sister, Francis (Fred); brothers, Winston (Sharon), Lloyd (Sharon), Ronald (Ann); grandchildren, Josh and Lann. Predeceased by his wife, Verneatia; brothers, Donnie (Betty), Carman (Bonnie); sisters, Blanche (William), Irene (Joe).
