OBITUARY

Emma and Malachi Wleh

Play Tribute Video

With extreme sadness we announce the sudden and tragic passing of Emma, age 29, due to a medical event, and subsequently her beloved son Malachi, age 3, in their home.

Although Emma was very private and shy, people were drawn towards Emma and Malachi. Emma’s strong faith guided her through many stages of her life. We are assured that Emma and Malachi are with the Lord. Malachi was the love of Emma’s life, he loved music, dinosaurs, and running and exploring.

Survived by sisters/aunts Rita and Helen Wleh and the rest of the Wleh family, and Gail Mulzer and her family. Also, sadly missed by her friends Margaret Amponsah and Rachel Lewis. They were dearly loved by neighbours, Erskine Church family, Good Shepherd, and the Women’s Centre.

In accordance with the regulations of the Bereavement Authority of Ontario due to COVID-19, all visitations, funerals and interments are restricted to a specified number of attendees. A private service will be held, with interment to follow. Due to the current restrictions, a livestream of the funeral service will take place on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 1 p.m. Please join, by logging on to the Marlatt Funeral Home, Hamilton website by clicking on “Join Livestream” under the Service section of Emma and Malachi’s webpage.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Good Shepherd or Erskine Presbyterian Church. On-line condolences may be made at www.marlattfhhamilton.com

Pinky, as you were commonly called, we'll missed you so much. But we prayed and believed, your beloved son is with you in Heaven.
Let the rest of the family take heart in the Lord.

Sleep well, Emma aka Pinky and little Malachi.

It is so sad that my niece went too soon to be with her savior in heaven along with her son malachi. May the grace of God continues to strengthen us doing this time as we continue to mourn and remember Emma. We love you but God love you best, and until we meet again. Go and rest in peace as the Wleh family misses you.

When we think of Dear Emma and Malachi, we are reminded of that beautiful hymm "Let the Beauty of Jesus be seen in Me" which is what we saw when we saw them together at Erskine Church . All his wonderful passion and purity were vivid in their lives. All His Devine Spirit were shaping their young lives and we did see Jesus in their lives. Praise be to God for bringing them into our gathering and we will see them again on that beautiful shore. Condolences to her family and friends

Sending loving sympathy to all the family members whose hearts are broken. Emma and Malachi were a gift to the Erskine Church family as well. Their passing has left a deep hole at the heart of our congregation. We are finding hope and comfort in knowing that they are together "safe in the arms of Jesus".
