Peacefully passed away at St. Peter's Hospital on Tuesday July 14, 2015 at the age of 91. Loving husband for 67 years to Betty Greenland. Dear brother to Ellen Rankin. Predeceased by his siblings Leonard, Irene, Violet and Harvey. Fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews and dear friends. Gord was a long-time member of New Westminster Church. In his younger years, he was on the Board of Managers, served as an elder and was a member of the church choir. He and Betty led the 16th Cub and Scout pack movement at the church for 50 years. The family wishes to give special thanks to the many caregivers that came into their home over the past several years. Visitation will be at Marlatt Funeral Home, 615 Main St. E., Hamilton on Sunday, July 19th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Marlatt Funeral Home on Monday July 20th at 1:00 p.m. Interment White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Hamilton.
