Kim was an absolutely incredible man. He was a loving husband and best friend to Rachel, an amazing father to Melissa and Shawn, a terrific father in law to Ricky ,an extremely pround and loving papa to Nicolas, a loved brother, son in law, friend, co-worker, and neighbor. Kim made friends whereever he went. He had a certain sparkle in his eye that attracted everyone to him. His hearty laugh and outrageous sense of humor will be sadly missed but fondly remembered. Kim use to dance around to whatever song was on the radio and if he didn't know the words he would make up his own. This gave everyone a good chuckle. Kim was an excellent bowler who truly loved the game. He also loved to shoot pool whenever he got the chance. He was also quite skilled at woodworking with the help of Rachel of course. Kim was a die hard fan of the Toronto maple leafs. When he watched them play and they scored people down the block could hear him whooping with joy. He also stood up in his living room on many occasions with his hat over his heart for the national anthem played on televised games. This also gave those around him a good chuckle. Kim also adored the Dallas Cowboys, he has been a fan of them for as long as anyone can remember. Kim was a very hard worker. He worked at limeridge mall for many years and always gave it his best even when he wasn't treated as well as he should have been. Kim was a man who didn't hold grudges and knew how to let everything roll off his back and get on with his day. Kim was a very brave man. Right up to the end. As a matter of fact an hour before he passed away he told his daughter Melissa that when he got better they were going to have a bunch of beers to celebrate. Unfortunately this didn't happen but we all know that Kim will be up in heaven with a cold one ready and a leaf game on for the day Melissa joins him. Kim was a man who never made a promise he didn't keep and for this many loved him. His son Shawn, his daughter Melissa, his son in law Ricky, his grandson Nicolas, and his beautiful loving wife Rachel who was truly his life. Kim will be greatly missed by all of us, we just have to remember and be thankful that we were extremely blessed to have him for the time that we did and we will see him again someday in a better place.
