Patricia Deelynn Tubbs was born December 23, 2002 in Temple, Texas. At 3 weeks of age George Tubbs, Sr. and Wilma Tubbs became her legal guardians. With plans to adopt her, George passed away before this could happen but Wilma proceeded and did adopt her.
In 2005, “Papa Doug” came into the family. He and Wilma continued to raise her.
The old saying goes “It takes a Village to raise a child.” Well this beautiful little girl had a large village and was very doted on and adored especially by her Aunt Allie, who loved to spoil her.
Patricia was a gorgeous, happy, bubbly child who loved animals, sports, music and kids. She enjoyed laughing and having fun with family and friends and working.
Patricia has left behind a large number of family and friends who loved her and will miss her deeply.
She is survived by her momma Wilma, Doug “Papa Doug” Mitchell, George Tubbs Jr, Justin Tubbs, Laverne Brown, Amy Mitchell Butler, Chad Mitchell, Jeremy Mitchell, Jessica Stockton, “Aunt Allie” Alice Ault.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 10:00 am, at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel.
