Carolyn Ruth Meredith of State College, PA, died Tuesday, July 8, 2025. Born Sunday, November 17, 1946; daughter of the late Frederick and Ruth (Kershner) Meredith.
Carolyn was Valedictorian at Ursinus College, Collegeville, PA 1968. She obtained a PHD in Organic Chemistry from Penn State University in 1974. She worked as a chemistry teacher at St. Bonaventure in Olean, New York from 1974-1978 and was a book seller from 1980 until her retirement in 2015.
Carolyn is survived by her cousins; Meredith Brubaker, The Villages, FL, Judy Myers, Castle Rock, CO, Pamela Hamilton, Kansas City, MO, John Prowell, Wilmington, NC, Mark Prowell, Pembroke Pines, FL and her many friends from her years living in State College, PA.
