He was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church and the American Legion Post #518. Donald also enjoyed gardening.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Coyle Brown and C. Boyd Brown; sisters, Jean Daughenbaugh and Wanda Gamertsfelder.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth J. (Price) Brown; daughters, Bonnie Windsor and husband Ray, and Cindy Walter; son, Jim Brown and wife Sylvia; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 1 step-great-grandchild; brother, R. Duane Brown; and sister, Doris Thompson.
A memorial service will be held Monday, May 20, 2013 at 11am at St. Luke's United Methodist Church, 11669 Circle Road Shade Gap, PA 17255. Visitation will be from 10am-11am at the church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Donald's church at the above address.
