

Born September 20, 1935 in West Decatur, PA he was the oldest child of the late Donald H. and Ruth S. (Hamer) Fleck.
Norman was a 1954 graduate of Philipsburg-Osceola High School.
On October 6, 1956 in Philipsburg, PA he married Priscilla “Pat” (Johnston) Fleck. They recently celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary.
Norman worked construction after High School. Then drove milk truck for Miller Dairy in the 1960’s and drove fuel truck for J.J. Powell and Shultz Oil in the 1970’s. Then back to construction and remodeling with Dick Lenhart Construction Co.
Norman enjoyed working around his home of 52 years, gardening, and woodworking. He was very talented in making wood furniture and other items for his family. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing cards, and watching game shows. He will fondly be remembered by his family as on the swing located in the pines of his yard on a nice, sunny day.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Norman A. “Tony” Fleck and his wife, Carol of DuBois, PA, and Jeffrey L. Fleck and his wife, Tammy of Clearfield, PA. He is also survived by three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a brother, Walter H. “Sonny” Fleck of West Decatur, PA. He will also be missed by his dog, Cricket.
Norman was preceded in death by two brothers, Calvin L. “Chip” Fleck and Melvin L. Fleck; and a sister, Ruth E. “Elaine” Husted. He was also preceded in death by an infant son, Christopher J. Fleck.
There will be no public visitation.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
