Roland D Welshans, 87, formerly of Loganton, PA. He was best known by friends and family as Buck, passed away peacefully at the Jersey Shore Skilled Nursing Home, in Jersey Shore, PA, on June 5th, 2025.
Buck had long been retired from the paper mill and Condo’s, where he worked as a pipe fitter. He was also the caretaker of Holiday Pines Campground in Loganton for over 20 years, before entering the nursing home in 2024.
Buck is survived by his daughter Julie Welshans Shaible of Montoursville, PA, and son Dean Welshans of New Port Richey, FL. Granddaughter Ella Welshans of FL, and many friends from all over.
Buck enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, boating, Nascar, watching sports, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers, Philadelphia Eagles and Penn State. He also had a great love for his dogs and enjoyed spending time with them, riding throughout the campground on his golf cart with them and playing frisbee with them.
Per Buck’s request there will be no services.
