Rose L. Isenberg

Rose was born in Harrisburg, PA on February 29, 1932. She was the only child of Salvatore Carmine Firriolo and Marie Antonia Firriolo, nee Zirilli. She had a happy childhood in the family’s home on Madison Street.

Rose always went where she could do the most good. She spent her life in service to her family, first to her parents, then to her husband and children, and later, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was equal parts loving and joyful, and stern and stubborn. When Rose wasn’t busy taking care of her family, she was often out with her two best friends. She loved whiskey sours, New York City and petunias. She retired from the Pennsylvania State Game Commission.

She is survived by four children: Jack Isenberg, Amy Martinez, Steve Isenberg and Dan Isenberg; seven grandchildren: Barbara Isenberg, Brandon Isenberg, Margaretha Bria, Ashleigh Isenberg, Amber Jones, Nicole Fimiani, and Taylore Brownewell. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren: Joey Fimiani, Maddie Benedetto, Takiyah Jones, Quaynell Jones, Brayden Jones, Avarie Jones and Nyjah Jones.

Rose is preceded in death by her parents, as well as her ex-husband, Jack Isenberg.
