Faye Twiddy Whittington

Faye was born in Elizabeth City, March 9, 1937, a daughter of the late Ernest and Cora Rhodes Twiddy. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Whittington, a son, David Whittington and four siblings, Buddy Twiddy, William Twiddy, Lena Huggins and a twin brother Ray, who died at birth. Faye loved gardening and flowers and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving are a daughter, Linda Davis and husband Randy; a son, Jimmy Whittington and wife Joni; three sisters, Essie Adams, Margaret Constantino and Ruby Cardwell; two grandchildren, Deana Byrd and husband Stan Jr., and Shane Whittington and wife Erin, along with two step-grandchildren, Chasity Davis and John Davis; a great-grandson, Tyson Whittington and six step-great-grandchildren, Lindsay and Trey Byrd, Sydney Whittington, Dylan and Skyler Price and Tristen Cruthis.

Services will be private. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of the Piedmont. Davis Funeral Home is serving the family.
