She was born in Tarrant City, Alabama on February 23, 1924 to Ocie and Clara McCullough. She graduated from Asbury College, in Wilmore, KY, where she met and married Frank Williams.
She was a devoted Pastor’s Wife, mother and teacher. She taught home economics for many years and positively touched the lives of hundreds of children. She also served alongside her husband in ministry, by being available to others and providing her skills as pianist for services.
She resided happily at The Oaks for thirteen years and was blessed by excellent care. The family is deeply indebted to so many wonderful people who watched after her and became her friends.
When she entered a room, she brought light, with her beautiful spirit, natural sense of humor, and the grace of her Lord. She lived a wonderful life of service. She was a member of Rock United Methodist Church in Tarrant, Alabama. She lived for Jesus. She would want all of us to do that too.
She is survived by her son Mack Williams and wife Lee Ann, her daughter Nancy Williams Hill and husband Kelly, grandchildren Brian Abston, Jon Williams, Wesley Sloman, Joy Williams, Whitney Williams, and four greatgrandchildren. Earline was predeceased by her husband Frank Williams, and son DeVan Williams.
Due to the current state of affairs, there will be a graveside service, with only immediate family attending.
