Clifton Lee Howell

Clifton Lee Howell was born on February 8, 1966, in Houston, Texas and went to be with the Lord September 29, 2025. Clifton's kind heart and friendliness was felt by everyone that knows him. He was 59 years old.

Anyone who knows Clifton could count on him to help you if there was a plumbing problem, but he also enjoyed fixing cars and trucks. A very big love of his was fishing next to his wife. One time when they went fishing, they caught a 3o inch black drum, but that fish gave them a fight for the money. Both of them were in the water determined not to give up on this fish and they finally got it to shore. However, they could not understand why people were clapping and cheering them. A little later they found out that sharks and stingrays were swimming near them.

Clifton was a member of Pineview Bible Chapel for many years as well as helping at Sandy Creek Bible Camp and Ireland Outreach International.

Clifton is preceded in death by his father Lee Howell, Mother Dorothy Carver Howell, a sister Kathy Howell and sister-in-law Deborah Thompson. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Howell and sister Cynthia Remagen and husband Clint, Laura Howell, daughter, stepdaughter Maegan Griffith and husband Ronnie Griffith and 5 grandchildren.

The family extends their hart felt gratitude to the loving family at Pineview Bible Chapel and friends.

Visitation will be held at Earthman Resthaven, located at 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060, on October 6, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

The funeral service will follow at the same location from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

Committal will take place at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060, from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm.
