born in Houston, Texas on March 17, 1932 to William Warren and Liddie Wilma Amason. Patsy
graduated from Reagan High School in Houston, Texas. Patsy married her sweetheart, Raymond Carroll
Liedtke, on March 14, 1953. Patsy’s fulltime job was wife and mother. She spent countless years
supporting Raymond’s passion for horses. Patsy was a familiar face at the Texas Range Rider facility
watching her husband ride, cleaning out stalls and making sure all the horses were in show quality
shape.
Patsy was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, William Warren Amason Jr. and Jack
Duane Amason. Patsy is survived by her daughter Cheryl McDonald and husband Larry, her son Scott
Liedtke and wife Cyndi, her granddaughter Bailey Johnson and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation has been set for 10:30 AM, Friday, March 5, 2021 at Heights Funeral Home located at
1317 Heights Blvd. Houston, Texas 77008, followed by the funeral service. Internment will take place at
Earthman Resthaven Cemetery at 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas 77060.
