On April 13, 2016, Patricia "Patti" King Turner surrounded by her loving family was called home to be with the Lord. Patti was born March 11, 1940 (Inez and George King) in Des Moines, Iowa. She lived her childhood years in Minnesota and her adult life in Florida. She was a graduate of Asbury College and a life long teacher and educator in Florida. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Hudson, FL. She enjoyed painting, scrapbooking, writing, swimming, tennis, teaching bible studies and Sunday school. She is survived by her husband JD "Jim" Turner; her daughter Rhonda (Bill), son Stephen (Kim), son Scott, daughter Becky; Grandchildren Brandon, Brittany, Holt, Kristin, Parris and Great Granddaughter Wrenley; Her sister Kathryn Fredericksen, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family. Memorial and celebration of life services will be held at First United Methodist Church of Hudson on April 23, at 3 PM.
