Bill died at age 92 in Modesto, CA. He was born in Iowa where he was raised and attended school. He was Valedictorian of his high school. After high school, Bill served in the Army Air Force as a radar tech. Bill married Anna Mae, which was a marriage of 64 years. They resided in Modesto, where Bill owned and operated full service gas stations. Wife Anna Mae preceded him in death. Bill was one of three children; Ruth Reynolds (deceased) and Joe Bahr of Iowa. Bill leaves a daughter Cindy (Michael) Gibson, grandsons William and David Gibson and great grandson Bradley Gibson. Bill had many special friends and customers that he made over the years and deeply treasured.
The family would appreciate any remembrances to be sent to: Community Hospice, 4368 Spyres Way, Modesto, CA 95356. Services will be held graveside at Lakewood Memorial Park on Friday, November 30, 2012 at 10:00 am.
