Henry Frey was born on July 26th, 1944 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was the son of Henry Frey and Patricia Pate Frey. He was raised outside of the Shreveport/Bossier City area and graduated from Houghton High School. He passed away on Sunday, November 2nd, 2019 at the age of 75.
Henry was preceded in passing by his father, Henry Frey; mother, Patricia Pate Frey; brother, Frank Tyler; and sister, Patricia Gordon. He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Frey, and their two sons, Jason Frey, Kevin Frey and wife Melissa, and grandson Evan Ruby.
Henry was a veteran of the United States Air Force and dutifully from 1962 until 1968. He will be remembered for his 27 years of service at Houston Community College, where he retired. Henry was a member of the American Legion in Centerville, Texas, and always looked forward to spending time there at his property so he could relax and enjoy nature.
A memorial service will be held in his honor at the North Central Assembly of God, 25130 Aldine Westfield Road, Spring, Texas 77373, on November 18th, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Henry was laid to rest at Adams Cemetery in Carthage, Texas on November 8th, 2019.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Legacy Project at the North Central Assembly of God.
