My generation of nieces and nephews knew Lotfollah affectionately as Daei Lotfi (uncle Lotfi) As the oldest uncle in our mother side he had special regards and respect among us all. My mother Mahboobeh who since has passed away loved dearly all three of her brothers, Lotfi the oldest and Daei Norrie who also has passed away and Daei Vallei. When I was in my late teens, Daei lotfi helped me find a job and I am eternally grateful to him and shall never forget that expression of love and kindness. I wish to dedicate this lines in behalf my mother who would have loved to see us remember and offer prayers for the progress of Daei Lotfii's magnificent soul in all the spiritual worlds of the almighty God. May his soul be consorted with saints and holy ones for eternity. Finally I wish to offer this prayer for the progress of all who have passed away from this physical world and made their home in the spiritual worlds of God:

O my God! O Thou forgiver of sins, bestower of gifts, dispeller of afflictions! Verily, I beseech thee to forgive the sins of such as have abandoned the physical garment and have ascended to the spiritual world.

O my Lord! Purify them from trespasses, dispel their sorrows, and change their darkness into light. Cause them to enter the garden of happiness, cleanse them with the most pure water, and grant them to behold Thy splendors on the loftiest mount.
