Roslyn D. Campbell

Roslyn (Ros) Doreen Campbell, of Philadelphia, PA passed away peacefully on August 12, 2014 losing her battle with cancer. Roslyn was born March 18, 1955 in Philadelphia, PA to Jesse H. and Joan D. Campbell. She was the oldest of three children.

Roslyn’s family moved to New Jersey when she was a young child, growing up in Cherry Hill and Willingboro, New Jersey. She attended public school in New Jersey where she exceled.

She loved the fine arts. She also loved to dance and it showed!

Always a brilliant student, Roslyn earned degrees in education and business from Temple University.

At the time of her passing, she was employed with Vet-Core a non-profit in Philadelphia. Where she was proud and honored to help as many veterans as she could.

Roslyn is survived by her loving sons, Carl Jefferson and Henry Jefferson, his wife Susan Jefferson, seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild; her father Jesse Campbell of Willingboro, New Jersey, her sister Kathlyn Carroll of Hazel Dell, Washington, brother, Jesse Campbell, Jr. of Albuquerque, N.M. and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Her mother, Joan D. (Beachem) Campbell and brother-in-law Daniel V. Carroll

preceded her in death.
