A graduate of the Indianapolis Public School system, Willard was also currently employed with IPS, at Washington High School, as the Head Supervisor of the custodial staff.
On December 3, 2010, Willard married the love of his life, Gloria Gaines Mosley. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, watching boxing and spending time with his family.
