I loved Michael and I miss him. He was a mentor to me in the early 1990s, and we worked together on a few of his projects, and mine, over the years -- most recently in the last year of his life. Many of his "Ruthless Rules" still hold true for traditional advertising.

Although our marriage did not work out, I always loved Michael.  He was a kind, fun man. He was wonderful to my mother, and a caring step-father to my children. We made some special memories together, especially to Great Falls for Dave's wedding. His passing is a loss to the world. He made a big contribution to my life. Rest in peace and out of pain.

I am a retired radio broadcast executive who was really in it for the Sales dimension.  I learned so much from Michael Corbett.  I read "33 Ruthless Rules of Advertising" and was hooked.  I met Michael and spent time with him in person and on the phone.

We are still trying to accept Mike's passing. To my family he was always Uncle Mike. Mike and I go back to 1960 while he was a young airman at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Great Falls, Montana. With no previous experience he became an on the air personality at KMON radio. He and I were like brothers and we always enjoyed spending time with him. He was especially fond of my wife Peg and our children. Know that he was suffering these past few months with health issues and was deeply affected by the loss of his longtime friend and former business partner Dave. Now they are together. The Marianetti family will miss you Mike and thanks for leaving us with so many memories, especially the Tirilla story and only the way you could tell it. Make sure they have butter when you eat out Red.RIP big guy and know you will always be in the Marianetti hearts.
