Roberta M. Thompson

Roberta Mae Thompson, 72, went home to be with the Lord July 21, 2012 while living in Jacksonville, FL. She was born May 29, 1940, in Huntington, WV to Carl and Christine Skaggs. Roberta attended Marshall University, Huntington, WV. She was a former employee of GNC of Huntington, WV and held a management position for many years. She moved to Jacksonville, FL to live with her daughter in October 2008. Roberta loved life and family and especially loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her children; Patricia Rhone of Lancaster, OH, Barry Thompson of Lancaster, OH, Sharon Bailey of Jacksonville FL, Carla Gibson of Lancaster, OH, Melissa Bledsoe of Drexel, NC, and our dear sweet Belinda Call, who went to be with the Lord September 23, 2008; fourteen grandchildren; Matthew Lycans, Jeremy Lycans, Jennifer Kuhlwein, Diane Myers, Adam Roberts, Zach Meadows, Dane Meadows, Hollie Ludwig, Heidi Stewart, Josh Gibson, Drew Bledsoe, Daniel Bledsoe, Emily Bledsoe, James Bledsoe; twelve great grandchildren; Brandon, Jillian, Lucy, Branson, Hayden, Carter, Lance, Olivia, Haiti, Elijah, Ilane, Kaylee; siblings; Ronald Skaggs, Rose Fudge, Roger Skaggs, Ruthie Rivers, Rebekah Bowden, Robert Skaggs, Raymond Skaggs, Rhonda Wagoner.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Wallace Funeral Home, 1159 Central Ave. Barboursville, WV 25504. Contact info 304-736-3431.
