Mary Julia Belcher, 78, of Jasper (Curry community), passed away Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016, at her residence. Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, Aug. 26, 2016, from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held Friday, Aug. 26, 2016, at 1:30 p.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Interment will be at New Prospect Cemetery. Terry Townsend will officiate. She was a member of the Curry Church of Christ. Her hobbies were sewing, cooking and square dancing. Belcher was preceded in death by her husband, David C. Belcher Sr.; daughter, Michele Knight Price; parents, Albert P. Bottjer Sr. and Gladys Roe Bottjer; and sister, Genevieve Joan Bottjer. She is survived by her children, David C. Belcher Jr. and Susan B. Garrett (Andy); grandchildren, Patrick Price, Chase Howard, Devin Price, Alexandra Garrett, Peyton Garrett, Christopher Belcher, and Andrew Belcher; great-grandchildren, Emerson Price, Emily Price, Madelynn Price; and brother, Albert P. Bottjer Jr.
