We didn't know Bill personally but he cared for us a few times when we had to go to the ER. My husband and I have talked about Bill over the years. Bill had a calm, caring, confidence about him. When Bill was in the ER taking care of you, you knew you were going to be well cared for and that Bill was in charge of your well being, you were going to be ok. Our condolences to you and your family

Great sadness filled my heart when I saw Bill had passed away.
Bill and I worked for many years together in RIH emergency.
We had a great comraderie with many laughs and a few tears along the way.
I can say without hesitation that Bill was one of the best nurses I have ever worked with.

I was blessed to have known him and will miss his smile and the ever present twinkle in his eye.

Sincere condolences

Dear Carol,
Lianne and I are so sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. Your loss is shared by many who knew Bill, and caring thoughts are with you. Bill was a friendly and reassuring face to many that were in need of his help at Royal Inland Hospital, and his professionalism made Bill a much valued member of the ER team. Bill was always a reliable presence when out representing and supporting Kamloops military events, giving of his time to help and inspire. He will be missed. Our condolences to you and your family. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Bill and I met over fifty years ago in Calgary when we attended the old Mount Royal College. He became a good friend and continued to stay in touch all these years even though we were in different parts of the country. I have many fond memories of the good times and conversations we shared together. Rest in peace Mitch and our sympathy goes out to you Carol and your family.

Mitch and I shared many memories at Mount Royal College in 1969, from midnight trips to Edmonton and "borrowing flags". He was a great guy and tons of fun. My condolences to Carol and family.
