Paul J. Wood, 78, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2011 at St. John’s Medical Center. No services are planned. Mr. Wood was born September 14, 1932 in Mt. Vernon, Missouri, son of Oral and Georgia (Bishop) Wood. Mr. Wood worked in maintenance in the banking industry. He was a U.S. veteran serving in the National Guard.
