

Chuck, who also answered to Tex or C.D., lived life to the fullest, pursuing his hobbies of, hunting, fishing, and coin collecting in his early years and then traveling extensively with his wife Louise later in life. Chuck served in the Air Force as a Security Police Officer and was a proud American and Texan. He worked for and retired from both Houston Belt & Terminal Railway Company and from Goodyear Tire and Rubber having worked both full time jobs simultaneously for a period of time. He loved God worshipping at River Bend Baptist Church, and country having been active in local politics, an Astros fan, and a member of the NRA.
Chuck loved many and he was loved by many.
Chuck was preceded in death by his father J.C. Cloninger and stepmother Dovie, mother Zelma Baird and stepfather Virgil, brother Frederick Baird, and sister Geneva Harper. He is survived by his wife Louise Cloninger, sister Patricia Michulka and husband Robert, son Charles “Chuck” Cloninger and wife Tonia, son Steve Cloninger, stepson David Conaway and wife Danette, stepson Stacy Conaway and wife Michelle, step daughter Kathi Berridge and David Tietz as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be held on Chuck’s birthday to celebrate his life.
