

Marlene Dell Spencer Mansfield, 88 of Katy, Texas has moved to Heaven, Monday, May 18th, 2020. Born to Judge Harry A. and Leone M. Spencer in Lincoln, Nebraska. Marlene Married Kenneth H Mansfield in 1950, they remained as one the rest of their lives.
Preceded in Death by Her Husband and Parents, Brother’s Victor Spencer (Sandra), Harry Spencer Jr. (Betty), Sister Pagean Carter (Hugh), Brother-in-law Neil Harlan (Lee), Son Steven Edward Mansfield, Grandsons Keenan Chan Mansfield and Sean Mansfield
Marlene is survived by; Son, Kent Spencer Mansfield; Daughter-in-law Catherine Ann Mansfield; Granddaughter’s Jessica Marie Mansfield and Chelsea Dell Mansfield, Jessica Lynn Roberts (Daniel), Andrea E Kirkland and Grandson Joseph Kirkland (Christina). Brother Terry Spencer, (Patricia) and Sister Lee Harlan.
Marlene will also be lovingly remembered by her 5 great-grandchildren, Caleb, Kayden, Lilly, Nikole, and Cynthia as well as numerous Nieces and Nephews. Marlene, always known as Molly, touched the lives of every family member and an endless list of friends and charities with her generosity and loving ways. She is missed today, tomorrow and each day we live in the future. You are loved Molly, always and forever you are loved.
Marlene was a Graduate of Lincoln, North East High School, Graduate of Stevens College – Associate of Arts Degree (Fashion Design Major). Received top scholastic award, Graduate of Washington University, St. Louis Mo., - Bachelors of Arts Degree (Fashion Design Major). Dean’s List and won fashion design award, Professional Fashion Designer, Copyrighted Trade Name – Marlene Dell Originals. She began her Designing and Dress Making Career when she was about age eight (8), in Lincoln Nebraska, it was at this time she chose the Design name Marlene Dell Originals and her father had this name Copyrighted in 1939 after she had sold a number of her completed dress designs to one of the department stores in Lincoln at that time.
In our View and with sincere love for each family member and friend of Marlene, due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, we ask that all of you forgive us for not having a formal service. Molly wanted to be with us at Home when she passed, the same as Kenny, and this is what we did, with love, caring and dignity. Molly lived with failing health over the past 14 years, she is now rejoining with Kenny, her Son, Grandsons, Parents, brothers and sisters in Heaven.
