Ruby Nell York

Ruby Nell York, age 84 of Mt. Home, Idaho died Thursday, August 2, 2018 in Magnolia, TX. She was born February 28, 1934 in Searcy, AR. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband JC York of Shreveport, LA, her parents, Wallace H. & Pauline Davis of Bald Knob, AR; five brothers: Duane Davis of Bald Knob, Wallace Davis, Jr. of Jacksonville, AR; Billy C. Davis, of Bald Knob; David Davis of Bald Knob and Thomas Davis of Bald Knob; two sisters: Paula Bennett of Judsonia and Ann Carpenter of Bald Knob & her great grandson Nathan Randall Johnson of Baytown, TX. She is survived by her two sons: Ronald D. York and wife Linda K. York of Magnolia, TX & Jon Craig York of Shreveport, LA; three granddaughters Nikole Renee Sparks and husband Jerry Sparks of Kingwood, TX; Julie Weston York of Bossier City, LA; Sarah Elizabeth Plunkett and husband Andy Plunkett of Ruston, LA; one grandson Aaron Duane York and wife Holly York of Houston, TX; five great-granddaughters Kayla Noelle Johnson of Kingwood, TX; Jordan Alyssa Johnson of Baytown, TX; Wren Ruby Plunkett and Millie Rose Plunkett of Ruston, LA and Karlyle Claire Duggins of Bossier City, LA; three sisters Betty Mayfield of Russell, AR; Norman Mihelic of Bald Knob, Kay Morrison and husband Carl Morrison of Bald Knob and numerous other family & friends are also left to treasure her memory. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, September 1, 2018 from noon to 3:00 pm at the Historic Rural School Auditorium in Russell, AR.
