Travis Petrie, 25, died February 15, 2017 in an accidental shooting. He was born August 20, 1991 in Houston, the son of Rodney and Jane Petrie. He attended and graduated from Langham Creek High School in 2009. He then began working for Walmart and continued working his way up in the company until his unexpected death. Travis was a bright, loving, funny and a hardworking young man. He loved all Houston sports teams, fishing, shooting, video games and eating everything. He enjoyed football games with his best friends as frequently as he could. He was an amazing light in his family from the day he was born; there was never any task too large when his family asked something of him. Travis is survived by his parents Rodney and Jane Petrie, his sisters Amanda Bassham and Melissa Petrie, his grandmother Annabelle Petrie and his nephew and brother in law Aden and Theo Bassham. He is also survived by a tight-knit group of friends acquired over the decades, Nicholas Bartosh, Jake Sanders, Nathan Perez, Jade George and Christian Gonzalez.
