She was born in Metro Manila, Philippines on April 30, 1934. She was formerly married to Alberto Santos. She had a love for cooking, sewing, and spending time with her family. She was survived by her children, Marivic, Melchor (Cora), Marie (Rangsan), and Marlon (Kathy); her grandchildren Stephanie, Michael, Andre, Anna, Alison, Zachary, Niko, and Shannon; her great grandchildren Gabriel, Daniel, and Cameron; and her siblings, Carmen, Rose, Virgilio, and Norma.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, August 29, 2022 at 4 PM at the Family Funeral Care, Keego Harbor. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2 PM until the start of the service.
