Melba Jo Ussery

Melba was born April 14, 1953 in Carrollton, GA, daughter of the late Talmadge Thompson and Geneva Gibson Thompson. She was employed with Interface before retiring.

Melba is survived by her husband, Doyle Ussery; children, Kathy Reynolds (Roy), Tammy Brown (Ryan), and Annie Ussery; grandchildren, Kaden Ussery, Sarah Brooks (Mitchell), Tabitha Reynolds, Kinsley Reynolds, and Brooklyn Brown; great grandchildren, Roselee Brooks and Eli Brooks; sister, Ann Guerrero; brothers, Bussey Kiser and Donald Thompson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The Celebration of Life service will be held 3:30 P.M. Sunday, February 7, 2021 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, LaGrange, GA with Dr. Mike Reeves officiating. Burial will follow in Meadoway Gardens Cemetery. The gathering of family and friends will be Sunday from 1:00 P.M. to 3:30 P.M.
