She was born to the late Owen and Margaret Simpson in Crestwood, Kentucky on December 27, 1943.
Lois was Baptist by faith and retired clerk/cook at Oldham County Jail for 7 years. She also was a retired clerk from Taylor Drug's in LaGrange.
She is preceded in death by her parents, son; Jerry W Barnett, and brothers; Raymond, Owen, Larry and Roger Simpson.
Left to cherish the memory of Lois are her daughter; Karen Barnett Sparks (Ted), sisters; Peggy Kamer (Tony) and Nita Clark, brothers; Michael Simpson (Julie) and William Simpson, grandchildren (who is was known to them as Loisie) Trey Kamer (Marcia) and Megan Berger (Jason), and 3 great-grandchildren; Noah, Emma, and Morgan.
A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home at Noon with burial to follow at Valley of Rest in LaGrange, Kentucky. Visiation will be Wednesday, October 17 from 4-8pm.
Memorial Donations can be made in Lois' name to Tri-County Community Action Agency.
